PLANNING COMMISSION
September 3, 2008

The September 3rd meeting of the Upsala Planning Commission was called to order at 8:00pm my Mayor Cheney. Also in attendance were commission members Ken Lange and Lynda Tarbuck. Absent were Dan Hovland and Steve Woller.

A survey received from the school district was reviewed. It showed the area which includes the athletic fields, rec building, and proposed new ball field. A land use application for the proposed new ball field was then reviewed. Motion by Dan Cheney, second by Ken Lange to recommend approval of the permit. Motion carried.

A permit for fixing a roof, approved by the clerk and for Dennis Westrich, was presented.

An application for permit for Rawland Hagstrom was presented. The permit is for an addition to him home. A drawing of the addition was included, but setback measurements were not included and there was no map indicating setbacks. Lynda Tarbuck made a motion to approve the permit pending checking property lines on the Beacon website. If setback requirements are not obviously met more information will need to be gathered. Ken Lange second. Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 8:35.
