Recreation in Upsala

Recreation

The Upsala area boasts many good lakes for fishing and swimming. The Upsala American Legion Post 350 owns and operates Cedar Lake Park, located 3 miles West of Upsala. Cedar Lake has one of the best beaches in the area. Camping is also available at Cedar Lake Park. Pine Lake is located 4 miles Northwest of Upsala and has a public access. Several other smaller lakes also host good fishing.

Within 30 minutes there are three golf courses, located in Albany, Little Falls and Long Prairie.

Tennis courts are located near the high school football field.

Hiking trails are found near the Borgstrom House.
